Born in London but firmly rooted in Southampton. Barney has spent two decades building his reputation in this city’s property market — and his knowledge runs deep. He understands what makes buyers fall in love with a home, what sellers need to hear, and how to make the whole process work in your favour.

Straight-talking, strategically minded and genuinely passionate about property, Barney takes real pride in the results he delivers. From the initial valuation through to completion, his clients know they have someone experienced, honest and fully invested in their corner.

He lives locally with his wife Anna and their children, so when he talks about schools, neighbourhoods and community, it’s not a sales pitch — it’s personal.

When he’s not working, you’ll find him at Stoneham Golf Club or at St. Mary’s, loyal to Southampton FC through thick and thin.

With extensive experience in the property industry, Ben has developed a deep understanding of residential lettings across Hampshire and the surrounding areas. As Lettings Director and Co-Owner of Let’s Rent Southampton, he oversees lettings operations and drives the continued growth of our property management portfolio.

Ben thrives on the dynamic nature and challenges of the lettings industry, finding his role both rewarding and fulfilling. A core part of his approach is mentoring and coaching both new and experienced professionals, using his expertise to develop high-performing teams that deliver exceptional service to landlords and tenants at every stage.

Jack is a seasoned property developer and investor with deep roots in the south coast market. Joining Lets Rent Southampton as Business Development Director, Jack brings invaluable market insight and strategic vision to our expanding team. With years of hands-on experience in local development projects, his extensive network of industry contacts, built through successful partnerships with developers, contractors, and fellow investors, positions him as a key driver of our regional growth.

Jack’s expertise spans the full spectrum of property investment, from identifying emerging opportunities to executing complex development projects. His intimate knowledge of south coast markets, combined with his proven track record in building and managing profitable property portfolios, makes him instrumental in expanding our lettings portfolio and forging strategic partnerships that drive sustainable growth.

Ann joined the team in 2023 and brings with her a wealth of property management experience gained form over 20 years in the industry. Having worked for a number of independent agencies as well as running her own lettings business until recently. Ann lives locally with her husband Russell who she tied the knot with in January 2024 and their two dogs!

Sarah joined the team at Lets Rent Southampton with a wealth of experience in Lettings and  Property Management having worked in the industry for over 2o years. Sarah lives in Warsash with her 3 children and enjoys a socialising with friends and the odd glass of wine!

Chantelle joins the property management team to help ensure all our clients investments are kept compliant and in good condition. Chantelle lives locally with her fiance and two children.

Jo is responsible for all things financial, most importantly controlling the businesses financial processes, managing the accounts, paying the bills and supporting the management team.

John is a well known face to most of our clients having been an integral part of the ownership team until scaling back in mid 2025. With his industry knowledge and wealth of experience John now supports the Finance team to make sure all our clients and suppliers are paid on time. If he’s not in the office he’ll be put walking his dogs or on a cruise ship somewhere hot!
